CCURE 9000 now includes IdentyTech fingerprint readers
12/18/2015

WESTFORD, Mass.–– Tyco Security Products in December announced the integration of IdentyTech fingerprint readers with Software House’s C•CURE 9000 security and event management solution.

The IdentyTech line of fingerprint access control readers (IDTWallmount™, IDTAccess™ and IDTGate™) are designed for corporate, government, educational, healthcare and other enterprises requiring advanced identification verification and management.

When the IdentyTech readers are deployed within a networked C•CURE 9000 system, users can manage the readers themselves via the C•CURE 9000 platform and also have the power to manage access control, video, intrusion and other supported security products through its interface. C•CURE 9000’s integration with multiple security systems also provides users with advanced analytics capabilities and situational awareness.

Made for harsh environments, the indoor/outdoor IdentyTech fingerprint readers are equipped with full anti-vandal casings and meet the market’s IP65 standard for protection from particles and water. A single reader when integrated with C•CURE 9000 supports up to 500,000 users and also has standalone capacity for up to 100,000 users. Readers can provide true multi-factor identification and verification terminal functionality with their integrated smart card reader, CTP keypad and are capable of voice audio and video.
The IDTWallmount reader also offers a power LED interface for 5-megapixel video capture, which is useful when access is denied to entrants. Critical information contained within the readers and communications to and from the readers is secured and encrypted.

“Our growing portfolio of biometric integrations with the powerful C•CURE 9000 platform continues to expand the options for businesses requiring a higher level of security with multi-factor authentication,” said Jason Ouellette, TSP product line director-access control, said in a statement. “The combination of C•CURE 9000 and IdentyTech’s fingerprint readers provide a flexible, scalable and intuitive solution that goes beyond traditional security measures,” he added.

IDTWallmount™ readers feature a Power over Ethernet option, wiegand 26- to 1024-bit card technology and are compatible with iCLASS, MIFARE and Proximity smart cards. For more information, visit Software House at www.swhouse.com.
